Have you ever felt like you have nothing left to give? Unless you are a special kind of super-human, you probably have. Everybody has been to that place where things feel dried up. Whether its over-extending or just the demands of every day life, we are all going to come to the place of the dry well.
Deadlines can be a great thing. If I didn’t have deadlines, whether self-imposed or not, I doubt I would really get a whole lot done. When I don’t have deadlines, I actually tend to drag my feet and get lazy. That is the positive of a deadline.

As a writer, it is tempting to fall into the trap of thinking that I always have to have something original to say. Honestly, if that was the case, I couldn’t write. I would be paralyzed. I still have a great fear that someone will read this blog and declare that I’m a phony and that all my ideas come from other people. That is because they do.
These days, Marvel movies are a dime a dozen. There are at least 2-3 movies that come out every year. Almost each one is met with extravagant ticket sales. On the whole, they are entertaining and bombastic. Every once and awhile, though, one comes out in which the story goes a little deeper than the audience was expecting.
Dishwashers are amazing things. If you don’t think so, wait until the dishwasher breaks down. Either that, or just try going without it for 30 days. I realize that you may not use a dishwasher and that you may be extremely good at staying on top of keeping your dishes clean. However, I am definitely not. I have a tendency to let them pile up, and a dishwasher can make a 30 minute job a 5 minute job. There is really a lot we can get done with a dishwasher with pretty minimal effort.
